Maharashtra State Agriculture Minister Chandrakant Dada Patil announced today that there are enough seeds and fertilizers for this years Kharif Crop season. He also added that the government has started the process of receiving applications for crop insurance. He made this announcement during the recently concluded Press Conference. He addressed this press conference after he presided over a series of meetings regarding the agricultural output, fruit and vegetable output. Upper Chief Secretary and other senior officials were also present during the meeting. Minister of State for Agriculture Shri. Sadabhau Khot was also present during the meeting.

The minister further mentioned that farmers can apply for the crop insurance till the 24th of July. They can get the necessary information at the Government Help Centers and banks where they have a loan with.

Chandrakant Dada further addressed the farmers that they can take stock of the rains and start the process to seeding into the farms.
