The agriculture department has organized an integrated management campaign for the awareness on pink bollworm disease on the cotton crop as a part of this campaign one tableau is inaugurated by Mr Chandrakant Dada Patil by showing the green flag. This event was completed at the official residence of Devgiri in Nagpur.
The Agricultural Department of Maharashtra has started a public awareness drive in all the cotton-producing tehsils of Nagpur district. This drive is related to pink bollworm on the cotton crop. Under this campaign, the farmers will be informed on the precaution measures for cotton crops. Also, there will be a distribution of yellow sticky trap (Kamgandh trap) in this program.
As a part of this campaign Honorable Agriculture Minister Chandrakant Dada Patil showed a green flag to tableau made by the Agriculture Department.
For this event, the other attendees were Divisional Director of Agriculture Department Narayan Sisodia, Agriculture Department Deputy Secretary Ghadge, District Collector Agriculture Officer Milind Shende, Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officer P.N. Dakhale, Agriculture Officer Divisional Commissioner Anup Kumar, and Director of Quality Control Mr Ingale.
