State Minister Chandrakant Patil held a meeting with concerned officers (Maharashtra and other parts of Konkan) to oversee pothole affair in the state. He has personally taken charge and assured that roads will be potholes-free before the festivities begin.
Dada Patil, along with PWD Dignitaries and Engineers, conducted a road inspection, on 17th August 2017. The inspection commenced at 6 a.m. from Sion-Panvel National Highway, Phaspe Phata-Vadkhal, Mumbai-Goa and Khopoli-Pali Road; and come to an end at 12 noon.
During the inspection, the Secretary of Public Works Department – Ashish Singh, CP Joshi and Ajit Saben were present. Additionally, they were accompanied by Vinay Deshpande (National Highway Chief Engineer), Shri Kedge (Chief Engineer of Public works of the Konkan region), R.T. Patil (Special Project Superintendent), Rajiv Singh and Prashant Phagade (Indian National Highway Authority).
Review of the inspection was conducted and the decision was made at the end of the day with all the members who were present throughout the inspection.
