Newly Renovated Drama Theaters – A New Year Gift For Jalgaon People

Jalgaon’s Guardian Minister, Chandrakant Patil held a meeting with the concerned authorities overlooking the renovation of drama theatres in Jalgaon. He instructed them to complete all the unfinished work by the end of this month so that there are no hurdles during the reopening.

The minister did an inspection of under constructed theatres at Mahabal city. He also reviewed the ongoing work of all the other theatres in the district and questioned the respective department officials on pending work. He has instructed to complete all the pending work within the stipulated period.

Smita Wagh (MLA of Maharashtra), Lalit Kolhe (Mayor of Jalgaon), Kishor Raje Nimbalkar (Collector of Jalgaon), Jalaj Sharma (Assistant Collector of Jalgaon), Prashant Sonawane (Superintending Engineer -PWD), Amol Nikam (Executive Engineer), Mr. Gaikwad, Uday Wagh, Bharat Amalkar and other officials of the public sector as well as contractors were present during the inspection.

The Guardian Minister further added, “On the occasion of New Year it has been proposed that a very nominal fee will be charged for the first 10 plays, to encourage the growth of theatres. We are planning to take assistance from social organizations for this initiative”.
